Bittner f. N. 68 / de Pian invt.". At the lower part inscribed: "Joseph und seine Brüder". Date: c. 1818 Description: The work shows a carefully engraved scene in the tradition of landscape depiction. In the foreground is a figure resting in the middle of a pastoral scene. In the background is a panoramic view with architectural elements, framed by lush flora. A richly decorated textile curtain adorns the right-hand side and adds to the impression of a theatrical setting.
