A. Atkinson Del. / M. Dubourg Sculpt.". Lower middle inscribed in the printing plate: "THE FRENCH CONSCRIPTS / Published July 22 1817 by Edw.d Orme, New Bond Street, London.". Date: 1817 Description: The artwork shows the forced recruitment of young men by French soldiers in a picturesque village.
