Elm burl veneered writing desk, opening with a drawer in a band, a flap and two leaves; the flap lined with dark rosewood with embossed black morocco reveals an ash veneered case with six drawers and two secrets topped by a niche with a sinuous band centered on a spinning top, supported by brackets; the leaves reveal a niche with a sinuous entablature and a mahogany drawer; the entablature is topped and underlined by a doucine; the chamfered jambs; it rests by a plinth on molded feet. Turned wood keyholes. Sainte Anne gray marble top molded with two rushes. Napoleon III period. H 153 cm, W. 94 cm, D. 43 cm (cracks, veneer lifting, some minor accidents and missing parts).
