Spectacular 2nd class Cross of Merit (white enamel), with the Olympic rings, in silver gilt, like the lion (bottom), and the bowl (top) acting as a bezel to highlight the blue silk ribbon with the five vertical white stripes (3 central, 2 lateral). This two-sided piece features a new gilded lion on the reverse, as well as the famous Olympic year "1952" (hallmarks in the bowl hearth). A rare, impressive and symbolic piece. Size: 10.5 cm x 4 cm.
