Olympic Games/ Summer, 1936/ Berlin. Two pieces:a) the official participant medal, in cast bronze, by Otto Placzek, obverse: the five athletes representing the five continents operate the strings of the Olympic bells, words "XI Olympiad, Berlin, 1936"; reverse, the Olympic bell with its eagle calls the youth of the world, the five Olympic circles resound throughout the world.Diam: 70. Weight: 114g. Red bronze, print run 5000ex. Small chip at top right. Otherwise superb, and please, in its scratched red case (bell, rings); b) curious white ribbon, embroidered (gold yellow) with lace-like appearance: around the white eagle (embroidered), wings spread, we find in the upper part embroidered (gold) the words: "Deutschland, et Olympia 1936" in the lower part, the Olympic rings, embroidered in color (100x45). Attached is a round medal (35mm), obverse, eagle, rings, 1936, reverse; oak leaf with the words "thanks for meritorious contribution to the success of the Winter and Summer Games.
