Coffee table, 60's-70's. Mosaic (trencadís), glass and metal. It has marks of use and wear. Measurements: 40 x 122 x 41 cm. Coffee table with rectangular mosaic top, representing two stringed instruments: a guitar and a balalaika. It has been used the technique of "trencadís", a procedure based on the reuse of fragments of tiles or ceramics joined with mortar. The trencadís is a characteristic feature of Catalan modernist architecture, especially in the works of Antoni Gaudí. The base is made of metal, with tubular legs joined with crosspieces and, between them, a transparent glass shelf is fitted.
