Coffee table. Spain, ca. 1950. Wrought iron and painted. Marble top. Shows signs of wear and tear. Measurements: 52 x 118 x 50 cm. Spanish coffee table, mid-twentieth century. The wrought iron structure presents a beautiful chambrana with triple crossbeam ornamented with metal studs and finished in small curved tongues that harmonize with the warped design of the feet. The iron surface has "hammered" decoration combined with grooves and, on the perimeter of the top, rhythmic notches or small pleats bordering the marble top. It shows signs of wear and tear.
