Peter Lupori (American, 1918-2014). Group of two pastel on paper drawings including: One depicting three vegetables, possibly cabbage, in the center with clams in the background. Pencil signed and dated 2002 along the lower right in two spots. One depicting leaves in an abstract form, possibly seaweed. Pencil signed and dated 1998 along the lower right. Peter Lupori was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and educated in Italy with John Donald and William Reed. After his military service during the World War II, Lupori earned M.Ed. in art education and became an Instructor in Art at the University of Minnesota, Extension Division, and the Colleges of St. Catherine and St. Thomas in Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minnesota. His work has been exhibited in numerous exhibitions including the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and the College of St. Catherine. Leaves; sight; height: 11 1/2 in x width: 17 in.
