Ancient Corinthian Greek pottery aryballos flask, ca. 6th century BCE. Of spherical form with a narrow neck and flaring rim. Decorated along the sides with linked circles and flowers. These flasks often contained perfumes or oils and are depicted on vase paintings as being used by athletes during bathing. Height: 3 in x 2 3/4 in x depth: 2 3/4 in.
