ab Nicolas BLANDIN (born 1969). Circular pedestal table in hammered metal with silver patina and gold highlights. Top and circular spacer shelf darkened with beveled mirrors. Lance-shaped tripod uprights with pastilles (minor dents and pitting on mirrors). Probably from the "Barbares" model series. Height 73 cm - Diam. 44 cm Nicolas Blandin, born in 1969, became a self-taught designer of furniture and decorative objects in 2007 with the creation of his first collection of works. Strongly influenced by the Art Décoratif movement of the twentieth century and the 1940s, he uses a variety of materials and techniques to create his utilitarian pieces, such as hammered metal furniture and enamel decorated with freehand designs. On several occasions, he collaborates with major companies such as Asiatides and Emaux de Longwy to create new furniture collections. Today, his work is exhibited internationally and appreciated by a wide public in Asia, Europe and the United States.
