Group of ten Japanese woodblock printed tea ceremony books, 19th century. Seven of the books have an embossed wave-like pattern along the covers. All ten books are bound with yotsume toji or stab binding, a traditional Japanese method of book making. Keywords: tea ceremony, chanoyu. Height ranges from 7 in to 9 in; width ranges from 5 in to 6 1/2 in; depth: 1/2 in.
