Description
Group of two mid- to late-19th century Japanese cast-iron choshi sake kettles, Edo to Meiji period. One kettle with an applied brass handle and brass and copper lid, depicting a dotted arare pattern in relief along the body of the kettle. The second teapot with a lacquered wooden lid and a honeycomb design, similarly in relief, along the exterior. (Both) height: 6 in x width: 7 1/2 in depth: 5 1/2 in.
