Japanese Ko-Iga Mizusashi or freshwater jar with a biidoro ash glaze, Edo period ca. 18th to 19th century. The stoneware clay with copper decoration throughout and feldspar chips. There is a large lacquer repair to the side. With a wooden tomobako box. Keywords: chanoyu, tea ceremony. (Pot) height: 6 in x diameter: 5 1/4 in.
