Fanny Parks (nee Frances Susanna Archer) (Welsh, 1794-1875), "Wanderings of a Pilgrim, in Search of the Picturesque, during Four-and-Twenty Years in the East; with Revelation s of Life in the Zenna...Illustrated with Sketches from Nature," London: Pelham Richardson, 1850. Two volume set. Lithograph of "Elevation of the Himalaya Mountains" in a pocket at the end of volume I. The set consisting of 50 lithographic plates, which include four chromolithographs, with additional varnish and hand-coloring - eight tined and 17 colored. With the original blue cloth blocked in gilt - the corners bumped, rebacked retaining original backstrip, and later endpapers.
