A KOREAN INALID WOOD LOW LACQUER TABLE WITH DRAGONS A KOREAN INALID WOOD LOW LACQUER TABLE WITH DRAGONS Korea, 18 th to 19 th century The rectangular low table supported on four short legs with an apron, the top decorated with two four-clawed dragons writhing around a flaming pearl amid swirling clouds, all within a frame of scrolling vines. The scales and details lacquered in gold, black and red, the dragon eyes of inlaid mother-of pearl, and the clouds and flaming pearl inlaid in crushed seashell. SIZE 99 x 68.9 x 38 cm WEIGHT 12 kg Condition: Overall good condition with wear, cracks to the lacquer, small losses to inlays, tiny nicks, and minor chips.
