Description

Group of two Chinese crackleware ceramic pottery vessels including one Nanking dragon bowl with a Kangxi mark and one Nanking dragon vase with a Chenghua mark, each vessel with a celadon crackle glaze. The vase is of a baluster form with an applied dragon decoration snaking along the sides of the vase as it chases a flaming pearl. The bowl with a similarly applied decoration, depicting two dragons chasing flaming pearls along the sides of the vessels, in addition to a band of applied scrollwork along the upper rim of the bowl. (Bowl) height: 3 in x 7 1/2 in. (Vase) height: 12 in x diameter: 4 1/2 in.
