The compressed globular body following the archaistic bronze form, with molded taotie masks at the three feet and angular U-shaped, upright handles, the domed cover surmounted by three mythical beasts and penciled bands. Provenance: New York trade. Condition: Extensive wear, losses, encrustations, chips, scribbles, touchups, and repairs, all as expected as expected from Han dynasty excavations.
