A GROUP OF THREE KOREAN INLAID PAINTINGS AND A CHINESE PAINTING A GROUP OF THREE KOREAN INLAID PAINTINGS AND A CHINESE PAINTING Korea and China, 20th century. Each set inside a vintage frame, one behind glass. The three Korean paintings mostly worked with numerous shells inlays, one depicting red-crowned cranes, other cockerels and birds on lush tress, and the last a mountainous landscape. The fourth painting rendered in ink, watercolors, and gouache on silk, depicting a ribbon-tailed bird perched on a tree. Inscriptions: One painting inscribed in Korean. The Chinese painting signed ‘Zhan de’ with seal. Provenance: From a private collection in Zagreb, Croatia. Condition: Good condition with wear. Expected losses to inlays, some stains, minor soiling, and light foxing. The frames in good condition with usual traces of wear and age. Dimensions: Length c. 73 cm-37 cm, Width c. 48 cm-32 cm
