Miniature in an Empire frame circa 1900, indistinctly signed I. Bause, gouache on panel, fine rococo maiden in a deeply decorated dress with feathered hat, against a light blue background, framed behind glass in an oval, the surrounding wooden frame elaborately decorated with gilded brass ornamental parts in an architectural look and crowned with a ribbon, with stand on the reverse, dimensions 14 x 21 cm.
