WROUGHT-IRON QUASIMODO SALON TABLE MODEL Jean-Maurice ROTHSCHILD circa 1950 Rectangular-shaped table topped with a beautiful green Campan veined marble. The marble is set in a guilloche-engraved iron frame. The ensemble rests on a solid metal structure terminating in wide, concave, fan-shaped legs. Each leg is decorated with large, intriguing figures supporting the table on their backs. Smiling, they sit cross-legged, dressed in traditional costume. On either side, we find large iron scrolls accompanied by a drooping round ring. Size: 48 x 98 x 53 cm
