He enjoys painting the lotuses that bloom on the rivers he crosses on his long wanderings through the countryside surrounding Bangkok. He also likes to depict the sacred, inspired by the monks he meets along the way. This dual relationship, to the aquatic element and to spirituality, is reflected in the way he paints. He paints exclusively with a knife, applying large quantities of oil paint, which gives his art an impression of fluidity and elegance, complemented by the addition of a thin layer of gold leaf that makes his works conducive to contemplation.
