Antoniucci VOLTI (1915-1989) - Les parisiennes, 1962 Bronze sculpture with brown patina, signed and justified EA Clementi founder Height: 40 cm Note :Antoniucci Volti, pseudonym of Antoniucci Voltigero (1915-1989), is a French sculptor and draughtsman of Italian origin. His figurative sculpture is in the tradition of artists such as Aristide Maillol. All his work glorifies women and their bodies. The work shown here, entitled Les Parisiennes, is part of a series on the theme, the first of which was presented at the Salon des peintres témoins de leur temps in 1958, an edition specially dedicated to the subject of Parisiennes. Volti's series was made famous in 1992 with the creation of a stone version.
