[JOINVILLE (François d'Orléans, prince de)]. Note on the state of France's naval forces. Paris, Paul Masgana, 1844. In-8 brown morocco, spine ribbed, gilt title, triple cold fillet framing the boards, large gilt numeral in the center of the first board, gilt arms in the center of the second board, inner lace, gilt edges (period binding). Freckles, but a fine copy with the added figure of the Prince de Joinville, son of Louis-Philippe I and Rear-Admiral, and rubbed arms on the second board (Barbier III, 425; Polak 4703.)
