First edition of this collection containing the treaties signed in Munster on October 24, 1648 between the Emperor and France and between the Emperor and Sweden, as well as a draft treaty between France and Spain from 1647, and the treaty signed in Munster on January 30, 1648 between Spain and the Netherlands, with its two powers, in Spanish and Dutch respectively. The peace treaties negotiated and ratified in Munster and Osnabrück in 1648 put an end to the Thirty Years' War and the Eighty Years' War, which saw the Netherlands (United Provinces) gain independence from Spain.
