The Coronation of Saint Catherine of Alexandria, Pedro de Campaña (Brussels, 1503-ca. 1580), Hispano-Flemish school of the 16th century Oil on canvas, relined, measurements: 143 x 100 cm. Provenance: important private collection, property of an important collector, Spain. His real name was Pieter Kempeneer (Spanishized Pedro de Campaña), he was in Seville from 1537 to 1562. He dedicated himself to ornamenting churches, parishes and oratories with his paintings, with an artistic style brought from Flanders, mixed with the first mannerism of Rome ( early 16th century). Small mistakes and repaints.
