Magnificent Romanist Virgin with Child in Her Arms, Hispano Flemish Renaissance school of Roque Balduque (b. 1500 - f. 1561) Wood carving with a good part of gilding and polychrome of origin, missing in the arm of Child Jesus. Roque Balduque (b. 1500 - f. 1561), sculptor and altarpiece of Flemish origin born in a place that in Spanish was known as Bolduque but its name was Bois-le-Duc (now called 's-Hertogenbosch), capital of North Brabant (Holland), unknown date and active until his death in 1561.
