Rare and Unpublished Spanish Colonial Portrait of the 9th Incan King Urco, 17th century colonial school of Cuzco, Royal Audience of Charcas, Bolivia and 17th century Unpublished portrait of the "9th Incan King" from an important Sevillian noble collection. Oil on canvas measuring: 60 x 40 cm (frame not attached). The Charcas Region was part of the viceroyalty of Peru until 1776, when it passed to the viceroyalty of the Río de la Plata. Since the creation of the Chuquisaca mayor's office in 1782, the president of the Royal Court was in turn its mayoral governor. Reference bibliography: Fane, Diana, ed.
