He traveled extensively in Africa, Oceania, India, the United States, Mexico, the Far East... In 1963, with his wife Monique Apple, he settled in Stigny, Yonne, where he continued his work until 2006. Here, he continued to combine his literary work, his drawings and his high reliefs, the obelisks being his last works in volume.
