Dresser/chest of drawers and 2 bedside tables. Italy, 1950s. Wood. Measurements: 35 x 60 x 37 cm (bedside tables); 70 x 124 x 41 cm (dresser). Very special set of chest of drawers with dressing table function and pair of bedside tables, Italian design of the fifties. Made entirely in wood, they combine two tones, darker for the drawers. All three pieces have a transparent glass top shelf. The drawers have a flap with an original design that saves the handle. The curved lines outline the cabinet, drawing a harmonious whole between its blunt angles and diagonal sections. The legs, narrower at the base, trace stylized stipes that lighten the already light and refined structure. Italian furniture design of the 1950s, known as Mid-Century Modern, is known for its combination of elegance, functionality and modernity, characteristics that are echoed in this set.

Small desk with Campus legs. France, 1960s. In oak wood. Measurements: 77 x 86 x 43 cm. Small desk made entirely of oak, including the legs, Campus model. It responds to a design imbued with personality, with handcrafted finishes that reveal a quality manufacture. Its structure is asymmetrical, raised on wedge-shaped legs, with two drawers lined up on the left side and a pencil holder with integrated sliding top at waist level. The latter simulates a third drawer in order to visually harmonize the whole.

CARPENTER CUSTOM high chest of drawers. Germany, 1970s. Oak wood. Solid oak handles and edge details with oak veneered surfaces. Very good original condition. Measurements: 111 x 63 x 44 cm. German chest of drawers designed by the German manufacturer Carpenter Custom Tall in the 70's that reflects the character of the German furniture of the time. It is a piece of furniture of harmonic proportions and geometric structure, of clean lines but avoiding being monolithic playing with the recessed bodies. The cabinetmaker respects the natural wood, and as such we see here, the oak, taking advantage of its expressive grain on the front, its organic and irregular character in contrast with the geometric rigor of the structure. The furniture has drawers with ring handles entirely made of solid oak.

Rocker. Thonet style, ca. 1950. Oak wood and grille. Measurements: 97 cm, x 53 cm x 100 cm. Thonet style rocking chair in curved oak wood. The seat and back are made of grille. The piece stands out for its elaborate sinuous forms and the complex work involved in its manufacture. The ornamental originality is allied with ergonomic and functional achievement in this interweaving of woods that is the result of an arduous craftsmanship.
