ANTONIO CITTERIO (Meda, 1950) for Xilitalia. Four "Eridiana" chairs, 1980. Steel and black leather. With publisher's label. In good condition, with wear and tear. Measurements: 81 x 54 x 46 cm; 66 cm (arms height). The filigree chair ''Eridania'' by Antonio Citterio was produced by Xilitalia around 1980. It consists of a tubular steel frame that combines curved and straight shapes. Special attention should be paid to the armrests that open slightly outwards. Antonio Citterio studied architecture at the Polytechnic University of Milan, and in 1972 he began his activity as a consultant and designer in the field of industrial design. His designs are currently part of prestigious collections such as that of the MoMA in New York.

French chair from the 90's. Wrought iron. Fabric seat. In good condition. Wear and tear typical of use and the passage of time. Measurements: 95 x 90 x 60 cm. The innovative design of the armchair in tender challenges the conventions of traditional furniture and wrought iron chairs. Wrought iron chairs originated in antiquity, but became popular during the Middle Ages and Renaissance in Europe. Blacksmiths perfected and hammering to create detailed designs, combining functionality and aesthetics. These chairs became symbols of elegance and durability, so they were featured in noble homes and outdoor spaces. Today they are valued for their beautiful craftsmanship and sturdiness, keeping alive a historic tradition in iron forging.

Palm tree lamp. Attributed to MAISON JANSEN, ca. 1980's. Brass shaft, metal leaves. It shows wear and marks of use. Measurements: 76 x 27 x 27 cm. Floor lamp in the form of a palm tree, with brass shaft and metal leaves with mahogany patina. It is probable that it belongs to Maison Jansen, because it follows the same models and the same technique as the palm tree lamps of this prestigious house dedicated to luxury decoration. The Palmera lamp is the star piece of Maison Jansen, an icon for lovers of interior decoration. With a proven track record, Maison Jansen has decorated the residences of such important personalities as the Kennedys, the Duke and Duchess of Windsor, Coco Chanel and the March family. Founded in 1880 by Dutch designer Jean-Henri Jansen (1854-1928), its aesthetics were based on French furniture combined with aesthetic influences from around the world. His most sought-after pieces reflected the influence of antique designs from the Louis XIV, Louis XVI, Directory and Empire eras, as well as objects Jansen found during his travels to Japan and Turkey. It shows wear and tear and marks of use.

Pair of armchairs; Spain, 1950s. Wood. They show wear in the upholstery. Measurements: 77 x 55 x 70 cm (x2). Pair of armchairs with wooden structure and upholstery in white fabric. The exposed wood traces a right angle in the armrests, describing a same line with the front legs, so that the soft and enveloping leather seat is balanced with this modern structure. However, the clean lines are softened by the warmth of a wood that shows off its qualities and grain. They show wear on the upholstery.
