Vintage ceiling lamp in the shape of sun of the 50's. Following the style of GILBERT POILLERAT (France, 1902-1988). Metal with golden patina. Electrified. It shows wear due to use and time. Measurements: 16 x 62 x 62 cm. Vintage ceiling lamp in the shape of sun. Alternating rays of two sizes radiate from the central sphere. Gilbert Poillerat studied at the École Boulle, where he trained as an engraver and metal chiseler, and graduated in 1921. Between 1921 and 1927, he worked for the wrought iron expert Edgar Brandt doing design and production work. In 1927, he began working for the Baudet, Donon and Roussel building structures company, and headed their decorative hardware division, producing tables and lamps. During the 1930s and 1940s, Poillerat continued to design furniture and architectural elements. He drew inspiration from a variety of sources, including historical architecture and nature. In 1934, he began producing jewelry. In the mid-1930s, under the influence of Christian Bérard and Jean Cocteau, Poillerat was inspired by the neo-baroque movement. In 1946, Poillerat left Baudet, Donon and Roussel to work as a teacher at the École Nationale des Arts Decoratifs. There he taught for 26 years, while continuing his own design production, collaborating with artists of the stature of André Arbus, Jean Pascaud and Vadim Androusov.

Cesc Senar, for Betera. Table. Totem model. Marble and glass. Measurements: 75 x 110 x 110 cm. Since 1972, the designer Cesc Senar has been creating auxiliary furniture for the modern home for Masis. Over the decades, innovation in terms of aesthetic and functional perception, but also in the use of new materials, has been refined and adapted to the most contemporary demands. Totem is one of Masis' classic models, contemporary in style and timeless in design, endowed with timeless elegance and cadence. In addition to the model with square or rectangular top, Senar also designed this variant with a circular top in transparent glass. The backing, consisting of two intersecting slats, is made of white marbled marble. The cross-section is balanced by the circle of the tabletop, offering a design of refined geometry.

ARNE JACOBSEN (Denmark, 1902 - 1971) for Louis Poulsen. Floor lamp "AJ". Black metal. Unused. In original packaging. Measurements: 130 cm. height). Designed in 1957 by Jacobsen for the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen, the table lamp "AJ" a design considered today a classic masterpiece, icon of the Scandinavian modern style of the mid-twentieth century. Few desk lamps have its appeal, based on its characteristic asymmetrical shape and swiveling diffuser, which makes it a perfect reading lamp. An architect and designer, Arne Jacobsen studied for four years at the Copenhagen School of Construction, then entered the Faculty of Architecture at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts. As a designer, he created furniture that has become classics, including the "Ant" chair (1951) and the "Swan" and "Egg" chairs designed for the SAS hotel. The key to the success of Jacobsen's work lies in its elegant and essential design, and today we can find them in collections such as those of the Victoria & Albert Museum in London or the MoMA in New York, among many others.
