Bar furniture. Italy, 1950s. Birdseye Maple. Gilded brass details. Mirrored interior and exterior lighting. Key is included. In good condition. In its original state. Measurements: 150 x 110 x 47 cm. The design of the furniture produced between the 30's and 80's fits perfectly in today's homes. The shapes, colors and materials of the mid-century furniture create a retro atmosphere bringing a unique and particular taste. The bar cabinet in tender is characterized by the rounded geometric volumes and the formal purity of its structure, very much in line with the Italian design of the 50's. This structure stands out thanks to the bambi type stipe legs that support it with golden brass applications. The prismatic main body opens with a double door that hides mirrored surfaces inside. Two drawers complete the design. Both the two drawers and the two doors have brass handles. The doors also have locks. Birdseye Maple wood comes from North America. Its English translation would be "bird's eye maple" (sometimes written as bird's eye) because the small knots in the grain resemble small bird's eyes. According to studies, the figure is due to unfavorable growing conditions for the tree. The tree tries to initiate numerous new shoots to get more sunlight, but with poor growing conditions, the new shoots are aborted and then a series of small knots remain.

Italian design of the sixties, with the six arms in golden brass topped with attractive flame-inspired crystal lampshades housed in golden sheaths. This flame-shaped design evokes the candles of the old candelabra chandeliers.

Small desk with Campus legs. France, 1960s. In oak wood. Measurements: 77 x 86 x 43 cm. Small desk made entirely of oak, including the legs, Campus model. It responds to a design imbued with personality, with handcrafted finishes that reveal a quality manufacture. Its structure is asymmetrical, raised on wedge-shaped legs, with two drawers lined up on the left side and a pencil holder with integrated sliding top at waist level. The latter simulates a third drawer in order to visually harmonize the whole.
