Tapestry embroidery in the Louis Seize style probably France, 19th century, rectangular form with fine polychrome petit-point embroidery in silk and wool on canvas, depicting an oval medallion suspended from the centre of the ornamental frame with a lavish garland of roses, containing a rococo lady sitting in a park with a book and dog, probably formerly part of a screen, framed behind glass, dealer's label HRW Wiesbaden on the reverse, good condition for age, folded dimensions 63.5 x 47 cm, frame dimensions 71 x 55 cm.
