Pierre François Augustin TURQUET, Goldsmith (active until 1855). A silver tea and coffee set (950), some parts embossed and finely engraved, comprising a milk jug, a covered sugar jug, a teapot and a coffee pot of pan and quadripod forms, richly decorated with gadroons, twisted motifs and cartouches with leather surrounds alternating with roses in full bloom on an engraved background. The handles are decorated with ram heads, and the grips with flowering bouquets. Goldsmith's hallmark P.A.T. Total weight: 2920 g Slight dents.
