Illustrated in color by Auguste LEROUX with 3 hors-texte etchings and woodcut headbands and frames. Limited edition of 150 copies on Japon paper, edited by Charles Meunier, this is one of the 125 head copies reserved for members of the Société des Amis du Livre Moderne. It is enriched with a file including original drawings (1 in color and 1 in black) and proofs (6 intermediate states on different papers) of the headband on p. 5-6 and, on a double sheet, 1 final state and 3 intermediate states of the headband on p. 77. Printed for Angelo Mariani (1838-1914), French industrialist and bibliophile, inventor of Mariani wine with Peruvian coca.
