Adolf HOLZEL (1853-1934). Still life with guitar. Drawing signed and dated 1927. Height: 34.5 - Width: 39.5 cm (view) German painter (1853-1934). Hölzel first trained at the Vienna and Munich academies in the 1870s. He then co-founded the New School of Painting in Dachau with Ludwig Dill and Fritz von Uhde. In 2011, Stuttgart's Kunstmuseum presented over 200 of Hölzel's works in an exhibition dedicated to him.
