Claudius LINOSSIER (1893-1953). Cup in hammered copper dinanderie. Signed on reverse. Diameter: 16 cm (traces of oxidation, scratches) Claudius Linossier, born in Lyon, was an Art Deco master goldsmith, chaser, engraver, enameler and lacquerer. Trained at Berger-Nesme, he has worked with Jean Dunand and exhibited in prestigious cities such as New York and Milan. Awarded the Grand Prix at the 1937 Universal Exhibition, he bequeathed some of his work to the Musée des Beaux-Arts de Lyon.
