A 'SWATOW' BLUE AND WHITE PORCELAIN BOX, LATE MING A 'SWATOW' BLUE AND WHITE PORCELAIN BOX, LATE MING China, late Ming dynasty, 17th century. Of circular form, the domed cover is decorated in underglaze blue to the center with a deer amongst ruyi sprays, the sides with lobed panels enclosing ribboned double-gourds and floral sprays. Condition: Overall good condition with manufacturing flaws, expected wear, and some chips to the upper rims. Provenance: Austrian private collection. Weight: 430 g Dimensions: Diameter 12.5 cm
