Max Reger Autograph Letter Signed German composer (1873-1916) best known for his densely contrapuntal, Bach-inspired keyboard works. ALS in German, penned on the reverse of a 5.5 x 3.25 postcard with a caricature portrait of Max Reger at the piano, postmarked at Leipzig on February 12, 1909. An untranslated handwritten letter from the prolific composer. In fine condition.

In-4 brown half-maroquin with corners, spine ribbed, gilt title, date on tail, gilt fillet on covers, gilt head, illustrated cover preserved. Rousseurs. E.A.S. from the author to William Eagle-Pott, English explorer and shipowner, and close friend of the Duchess. With two photos and a four-page letter from the Duchess, written in Aden, 29.12.1924. In the letter, the Duchess speaks of their friendship and of a future trip to Africa with her son.
