CHAGALL (Marc). Derrière Le Miroir n°147. Paris, Maeght, 1964. In-folio of 26 pp. in ff. + cover illustrated in color by M. Chagall. DLM published in June 1964 for the exhibition of 38 inks, drawings, watercolors and washes by CHAGALL at the Galerie Maeght. Texts by Marcel Arland and DM. 3 original lithographs, including 2 in color (1 double-page) and 1 in black, and 39 reproductions in black. A very good copy, preserved in the publisher's gray cardboard wrapper.

LORENZO QUINN (Rome, 1966). "Confidence". Resin lacquered in patinated bronze. Exemplary 241/999. Marble base. Signed and numbered. Certificate of authenticity enclosed. Measurements: 19 x 31 x 25 cm. Son of the actor Anthony Quinn, this sculptor grew up between the United States and Italy, being in this last country where he learned to appreciate art. At the age of twenty-one, he earned the respect of New York's artistic society by creating a work for the United Nations, a work that gave him the impetus to star in the much-lauded Absolut Vodka advertising campaign, for which the world's most acclaimed artists are selected. Shortly thereafter, he received an important commission from the Vatican, which commissioned him to create a sculpture of the saint on the occasion of the 8th Centenary of the Death of St. Anthony. Quinn has held exhibitions on five continents, and his work is present at major art fairs around the world. He has also created several public works, in cities such as London, Birmingham and Sant Climent de Llobregat (Barcelona). In November 2005, two monuments by his hand were inaugurated in the sports complex that hosted the 2006 Asian Olympic Games in Doha (Qatar).
