Published by librairies internationales des beaux arts in 1925-1927. 3 volumes, in-4 format, half basane with corners, spine with false nerfs decorated with gilding, red morocco title/title, gilded edges. Illustrated with numerous black figures in / out of text. Good condition.

Colorized and gummed lithograph on lid: Henri IV, Louis XIII, Louis XIV, Charles IX, Napoléon 1er, François 1er, Napoléon III in onion row, flanked by flags, drums, shields. The box contains three lithographed plates, colored and gummed, mounted on cardboard and cut into jigsaw puzzles. Classic puzzle game on the theme of the kings of France. The three plates present twenty-four profiles of kings and national authorities (republics, emperors), from Pharamond to Napoleon III. Fine condition, original paper dividers.
