This is the wine list of the restaurant at the Gare de l'Est in Paris, printed for bibliophiles. Prefaced by Pierre Andrieu, who considers it the most marvelous vinothèque in existence, this catalog contains 23 presentation sheets by genre or grape variety, some with introductory poems by J.-M. Eylaud, and 49 sheets listing wines, champagnes and spirits with names, breeders and prices. It is illustrated with a color cover and 57 vignettes or large illustrations by R. Gautier-Constant, etched by himself and L. Guidot. Edition of 200 copies on Rives (no. 70).
