Utagawa Kunisada "Utagawa Toyokuni III" (Japanese, 1786-1865). Group of four Japanese ukiyo-e kabuki woodblock prints depicting figures in action. All likely were once part of a series of woodblock prints intended as a diptych or triptych. Each with seals in plate. Height: 14 1/2 in x width: 10 in.

Type: Woodcut Materials: Rice paper Markings & Inscriptions: Signed bottom left Date: 1924 Maker: Yoshijiro Urushibara (Mokuchu) (Japanese, 1888-1953) Dimensions: 7.25" x 8.8" mat opening, 14.26" x 16.25" framed. Provenance: From an Elkins Park, Pennsylvania collection. Very good condition, not examined out of the frame.
