Uniforms - LANÇON (Auguste-André). Album de l'Armée Française. Paris, Arnaud de Vresse, sd (1861). In-folio, title-frontispiece and 20 plates. Red half-percaline boards, gilt title on front board (period binding). Minor wear to edges. A very fine complete lithographed and colored suite of Second Empire military costumes. This album is much rarer than Lalaisse's suites. A very freshly colored copy, free of foxing.

Paris, 1788-1795. 17 pieces in one vol. in-8, marbled brown half-basin, smooth spine decorated throughout, red speckled head (20th century binding). A good copy. Very interesting collection of often rare or very rare pieces on the problems posed to the navy and the colonies, with which it was inseparable, by the revolutionary upheavals (detailed list of pieces on request).
