Scarce M27 Irish Army Helmet. These were based on the German M16, made by the Vickers Machine Gun Factory in Northern Ireland. They were made of thinner metal than the German ones, so dent very easily. This one is no exception and has a small dent on the back. Painted white for Civil Defence use in WW2. Complete intact liner which is rare.

Meissen "Knabe, Schneebälle werfend" Counterpart to "Mädchen, Schneebälle abwehrend", designed by Alfred König 1905-1910, monogrammed, underglaze blue sword mark after 1948, 1st choice. Choice, embossed model no. 73394, maker's number 27 with year mark for 2004 and brush no. 2811, naturalistic moulding with polychrome under- and overglaze painting, boy standing on a round base with sledge support holding a few snowballs in the crook of his arm and one in his right hand outstretched backwards to throw, good condition, h 13 cm.
