Klein, Eitel - 1906 Hörlbach/Landkreis Weißenburg - 1990 Nuremberg, 1924 - 1929 studied at the Kunstgewerbeschule in Nuremberg under Rudolf Schiestl and Max Körner and 1929-1932 at the Academy in Munich under Karl Caspar, 1933 exhibition ban, member of the artists' association "Der Kreis" and the Neue Münchner Künstlergenossenschaft, he took part in numerous collective exhibitions, including the Great Art Exhibition at the Haus der Kunst in Munich. His works can be found in public collections in Munich, Nuremberg, Vienna and elsewhere, "Stillleben mit Gockel", oil/hardboard, the center of the picture in front of a two-part red-brown and yellow-green painting ground depicts a strongly abstracted rooster made of white ceramic, around it various vases with flowers and branches are grouped, in the foreground are painting brushes, signed and dated XI 58 ca. 58.5x57.5cm, frame, ca. 67x66cm, literature: Vollmer 3,59 a.o.
