Keller-Kühne was a painter and draughtsman, from 1921 he studied at the Munich Art Academy (under Heinrich von Zügel, Angelo Jank), during the semester break he traveled to Austria, Hungary, France, Latvia, Finland, in 1922 he took part in a Glaspalast exhibition for the first time, In 1925 he was offered a professorship in Budapest, which he turned down, in 1926 he was awarded the Munich Art Prize, from 1928 he exhibited in the "Munich Secession" and in the remaining years at the "Munich Artists' Cooperative (MKG)", among others.
