Ernst Bröcker, Morgenstimmung am Bach Brook landscape under a cloudy sky, the trees cast shadows on the calm water, high-quality, impressionistic landscape painting with dominant green and earth tones, the alternation of impasto colour application in the areas and glazing painting style in the contours creates a pleasant depth effect, oil on canvas, mid 20th cent, signed lower right "E. Bröckert München", on the reverse of the stretcher stamped "J. Eisenmann München 23, Siegfriedstr. 25", on the frame with stamp of the Munich frame shop "Hartmann", somewhat in need of cleaning, magnificent frame, rebated dimensions 60 x 70 cm.
