Eisendieck, Suzanne - 1908 Danzig - 1998 Paris, studied in Berlin and Paris, exhibited at the Salon des Indépendants in Paris, also at the Leicester Gallery in London, New York and Los Angeles. Influenced by Renoir, Toulouse-Lautrec and Marie Laurencin, she was based in Paris from 1932 and had her first major solo exhibition at the Galerie Zak in the same year. In 1938 she married the equally well-known painter Dietz Edzard in Paris. " Le beau Dimanche", oil on canvas, use of delicate pastel tones, a young woman with a little girl in a coastal landscape on a summery day, approx. 54x63cm, roug. Corner dam. glued, ca. 82x95cm.
