Choice, incised, embossed and brush-marked, mounted in two parts, footed amphora form with two coiling pairs of snakes as handles, richly decorated with gilt-bronze and bright gold relief ornaments and floral bouquets on both sides in fine polychrome overglaze painting, one snake restored, the other vase with a hairline colour mark over a bouquet, otherwise good condition for age, h 38 and 39 cm.
